    Exclamation Billy Nolan Youth Day

We missed getting a application in the newsletter for Youth Day. We need everyone to get the word out and see how many people we have planning on participating. We also need volunteers to cook to help. Please let us know if you have children and plan to attend. There is no need for application though we may try to get one posted on the website or on here. Thanks!

    Billy Nolan Youth Day
This year Billy Nolan Youth Day is being held on July 24 at Longwood Park on Hwy 15. All participants most be sponsored/accompanied by a club
member. The age groups will be as follows:
5-7 year olds, 8-10 year olds and 11-15 year olds. Awards will be
given within each age group for the following categories, most
striped bass, most largemouth bass, most catfish, most crappie
and based on weight the biggest striped bass, biggest largemouth
bass, biggest catfish and the biggest crappie. This year
noodling will be allowed with a maximum limit of twelve noodles
per boat. Every participant will receive a tee-shirt and a medallion
for their participation in the tournament. The weigh in will be noon
at Ivey Hill and awards will be given and pictures taken shortly
after the weigh in is complete. After the weigh in we will be serving
hotdogs, chips, drinks and watermelon for all to enjoy. If there
are children that would like to participate but do not have a sponsor
please let us know and we will try to provide a sponsor to
    take them fishing.
A reminder: Since Longwood Park is a COE Park; there is a $4.00 per
vehicle entrance fee if you come by car. If the entrance fee
offends you, the club will reimburse you.

I hope to fish(or chaffeur) also! I will also be glad to help with cooking, clean-up or whatever. Thanks for doing this!

    Hey guys,
Spread the word that the weigh in has been moved to Longwood Park on Hwy 15. We got a call today from the USACE sayiing the picnic area is still under construction and we must use Longwood instead.
    Thanks!
