Quick Massey report 6/27

[Magic Moment]

Got a ride on a friends boat for a half day shake down cruise. Ran to Massey and started a steady pick of mostly smaller BFT right away at 7:30. Picked up a nice 45inch keeper under. At around 9:30 the wwwwb goes off for our barely over 47&1/2! Good swell out of the SW, but nothing like I was expecting. Very fishable. Really laid out inside of the 20fathom line for the ride in. A good number of small boats out. The bite slowed around 10:00 for us. Picked up at 11:30 and called it a great day. Oh, we never had a bluefish bite. A few othe boats got covered up with them, but we got lucky. We thought we had one on the planner rod, but turned out to be a decent 8lb dolphin. Post pics later.

Thanks for the report, decided not to go do to the weather. Should have went huh.

Jim,, sounds like a nice trip,, all comfy.
Im cant believe its not rough out there,,, what do you think about sunday?? Im dying to get out and i know a few others as well!!
