Got a late start, on the water at 1000. Had no luck and decided to call it a day around 1530, on the way back to Robinson Creek observed a seagull frenzy off balls point and swung by for a look. Small Rock were banging bait feeding the gulls. We managed 8 small rock 16-19' with two keepers. My Son tried real hard to stretch the first few to 18' he was really looking forward to getting his first keeper of the season. Turns out he cought the majority of the fish as well as the keepers. He came home happy and the new boat continues to catch fish so I am happy as well.
All fish caught on Green grubs/red lead heads.
Hope you all had a great day on the Rivah

Good to hear. Every rock I have caught this year has been on a redhead of some sort, jerkbait, jigs, and rattletraps always a red head

Caught lots of 16-24” rockfish in Nassawaddox Creek and 4 Speckled Trout. Majority of fish and all trout caught on soft plastic 3” mullet - golden glow/fire color. Rockfish were caught casting with light tackle in open water for trout, casting to docks, and casting in lights off dock at the house at night. No sores on any fish and some appeared to have sea lice.

I was out on Saturday and Sunday and only managed two little guys. How were you fishing the Bucktail? Jigging, trolling, deep, shallow, any more details would be appreciated.
Thanks, John
