I had one of the NNAC members, his wife and a friend of theirs out at the NN Reef this morning. They had a blast. We kept our limit of rocks and a slew of blues. It was an almost perfect day today. The sunrise was spectacular. The 1 - 2 ft. chop on the way out melted down to a flat calm by 10AM. Tide was running fairly slow. Slight breeze. Warm sun. Clear sky. Could see for miles; on the way out about a mile or two east of the Great Wicomico light I could see the Tangier Island water tower. I don't know how it could have been better.

Capt. dave, is the yellow marker still out there marking the reef? I didn't see when I was there the other day, but that could have been from all the fog too. If you were catching those fat blues we were getting the other day I know you had a happy party.

Sounded like a beautiful day out there.

Capt. Dave,
I see that the fish finally found the reef again. Last spring I couldn't find a rockfish out there. Congrats on the catch.

Pepsi the yellow buoy is there again, but just a little bit off (about .012 - .015NM) of its original location.

Ditto... Sunday was one of those spectacular days that can spoil you! We headed out to that vicinity at sunup and caught our limit of Rocks by 10 am using live spots; also had some lines out with cut menhaden that attracted very little interest. Largest Rock was about 26'- all were clean and healthy. Landed a toadfish for the first time with a spot that was nearly half as big as the toad... uuuugly!!!
