The NNAC presented me with a beautiful jacket in recognition for my service to the Club. Director Little Bubba did the presentation at the members meeting on Saturday evening. That was a very thoughtful thing for the Club to do and I certainly appreciate it. Dave

Capt. Dave,
It started out as a new BOAT, but we had to settle for the jacket.

Congratulations, Capt. Dave.
Be sure to wear the jacket during our tournaments. It's supposed to have a tracking device so the rest of us will know where to find where you're fishing during the Fall Bonus Striper tournaments.

Not a chance Tom. That jacket is too nice to slop up with rockfish gook.
If you want to know where I am, why don't you go with me?

Rappahannockman, thanks for doing an informative talk on fishing for rockfish. One of the Boat U. S. fellows told me he even learned a few things too. Dave

By the way, Dave, your article in Oct. Ches. Angler was a great one. I would have thought you'd learned the steel leader lesson years ago, though.[smile]

George, we were not expecting to catch bluefish. Actually the only blue we had on in two days was the one that got away. Our goal was to snag some big stripers which we did fairly well. If we do it again, I think we might use wire right from the start.[wink]
