Fun way to start the season

Took the morning off work and loaded up the canoe for some early morning Rock fishing. Fished the piers off Balls point on the flood, cought 2 20' keepers on green grubs. It was made more enjoyable by fishing micro cast shakespers with 6lb test. Hooked into a good one that spooled line until it parted; pulled me and the canoe into the pilings before I lost her.

Yes , mouth of Robinson. I was at the second pier working up river from the point. Good current movement there, only place I had hits.
