Sorry again for the late report. I took out my good friend Shawn this morning. I was glad to finally get him out on the water. Workaholic is his middle name. I set 1000' of snoodline in 10'-12' of water at about 7:30am. We caught 10+ crabs on every run. There were a lot more females out this morning. We also caught quite a few Jumbos. We end the day at 1pm with 1 bushel of nice Jimmies and almost a 2nd bushel of mixed crabs. It was a nice day on the water with good company.

Here's Shawn dipping.

Those are some nice looking crabs. It seems like they were in deep water after all. Good job.

Thanks Moc. They taste really good too [grin]. Most of the crabs actually came out of 10ft. There was a void in the middle of the line in 11ft of water, where we caught nothing at all. The chicken was very muddy on this part of the line. We started getting them again in 12ft and then it jumped back down to 10ft. We still caught them either way.

Were you down at the Rhodes, Severn or South River. I need to get out there soon before they are all gone.

Ain't no reason to measure that Jimmie-even Buddy Harrison can see he's a keeper.[grin]Nice action shot of the trotline.Gotta love fall when they hang on to the surface. Skip
