I will be crabbing this Sunday down on the Pax and was wondering where I could get some chicken necks between Annapolis and Benedict, MD. The Mars Foodstore down the street from me in Perry Hall sells them but I want to avoid having to freeze them. I will be heading down to Annapolis on Saturday to fish all day and then heading from Annapolis to Benedict Saturday evening. So I thought it would be easier to pick up some chicken necks somewhere between Annapolis and Benedict Saturday evening. Thanks.

Thanks! I know where Nick's is located! I usually pass it when I go down to my parents house in LaPlata.

Do you have to buy it buy the 40-lb case at all the places mentioned above? My last trip out I bought a pack of about 30 necks for $2 from Mars. That's all i'm looking for because this will probably be one of my last trips of the year.

you have to buy the whole case, sometimes they are frozen you just have to ask if they have any that are not frozen

Why not buy a pack from Mars even if it is frozen and place it in a cooler with ice. It should be defrosted by Sun and if only partially thawed it wont take long to defrost in some water.

If you only want a few pounds you could always go to Anglers on Rt 50 they sell amounts less than 40 lb, but they are not cheep....
