I know this has nothing to do with fishing but wanted to try and ask around somehow.

I am looking to hunt some hogs. I wnt to take them so that I have pork to grind into the venison and caribou I kill this year. I heard there are some around in SC, and was wondering if anyone could provide an info on where to go.

I am not cheap, but would like to try and hunt on private land somewhere. I would be glad to trade out a yellowfin, marlin trip for it if needed. I have a 25ft World cat up here in VA, and when I am not playing MSG for uncle Sammy, I am usually on the boat in the summer.

Please bmail me or give me a call. Thanks

I noticed your from Va., I'm currently building a bird observation bldg. at Backbay National Wildlife Refuge, south of Sandbridge(Va.Beach) & I see wild hogs just about every day. If I'm not mistaken , they have a lottery to hunt there to thin them out(deer too). I think you have to register on line. U.S.Fish & Wildlife Refuge.

Lots of public land in Southern SC! The Savannah River area is loaded with wild hogs!! Find the nastiest place that you dont want to be in and you will find the hogs! Shoot the little ones! Much tastier and the big ones make for a tough tough drag! Trust me the weigh more than you think they do! I shot a little one about 14-15' tall weighed 110 lbs!!
