OT Capt Lic Flash Cards?

Leaving in a couple of weeks to get schooled on my Capt. Lic. Someone posted awhile back about flash cards that were a great help? I have searched the board and can't seem to find the post. Does anyone know of the flash cards, are they of value and where can I get them if worth it?

Make your own. You can obtain copies of previous tests (thousands of questions) on USCG site. You can make your own or just print these and read. They reuse many questions, so hopefully you have a great memory.

The flash cards are for help memorizing the rules of the road, mast head lights, right of way, day markers, etc. Crap you will never remember after the test, but have to know to pass. Most guys find that part of the operator's exam tough, as it is all simply memorization. For me the flash cards helped, I think all the guys that were in my class agreed. I would say buy them and it should help, not sure where I found the set I bought. Good luck!

There is a place in norfolk called Brownleys? I believe and they have them, at least they did a couple of years ago. Maybe someone here knows of the place and can help out a little more.

I just finished my class with Mariners School. They provided flash cards with the various lighting requirements. They were helpfull.
One of the guys in the class had an electronic rule with both inland and international lighting requirements. Pretty useful tool.

Fish I just finished up with mariners school not too long ago. see if your class provides the cards. I think most do. If you want to use mine I will be happy to send them down to you. They helped me

Thanks for the suggestinos guys. Found some cards from another graduate so I think I will be ok.
With having to be in class for 9 days straight I'm sure the weather will be beautiful, so catchem up guys.... &*^%$!!!
