We will be out there. Leave Saturday morning, come back sometime Sunday. Probably will spend the night in the canyon. The only problem is that I am entered into our club's spot tournament on Saturday. Any spot in the canyon?

Ken, if you go Spot fishing this Saturday I will lose all hope...
I got stuck fishing for SPOT and Croaker for the CCA tourney and I was some kind of miserable...NEVER again (except maybe for my kids when they get older).

I'll be in the Canyons Saturday night, wx willing. Leaving from Southern NJ so looking at the Baltimore or Wilmington. Inshore reports look like they've been good but I'm thinking we'll get a better grade out in the deep, any thoughts?

Sorry guys, I was planning to go on Sunday and Mother Nature found out..... You can blame me !
Offshore Forecast as of Wednesday afternoon:
SAT THROUGH MON
NE WINDS 15 TO 20 KT. SEAS 4 TO 7
FT...HIGHEST S.
Inshore doesn't look bad, but 15 - 20 is too much for me if it holds. Frickin' Figures !!!!

Patrick: As much as I hate to throw in the towel, I'm prone to agree with you. I'll just keep an eye (big eye of course) on the WX and be poised to go whenever it settles. [sad]

I've been watching the wx forecast all week. Not for me. Thanks to Harpoon for this link.
http://buoyweather.com/wxnav.jsp?region=SE&program=nww3BW1&grb=wna&latitude=36.75&longitude=-75.75&zone=-4&units=e
By the way, the link is to a "virtual" buoy about 12 miles out. VERY lumpy Sat and Sunday. Best of luck to those who try it.

Was sunny and perfect with 2-3'ers on Saturday, a bit breezier Sunday but still doable with 3-4s.
'course I didn't manage many fish, but another confirmation of "watch weather forecasters for their maps and amusement, but make your decision facing the inlet".
