We cleared Little Creek about 3:40 this morning heading towards the 400 line looking for the change or a grass line. Found the yellow brick road on the 860 line started trolling on it south in within a mile we got into the bailers. Took a while but we had our limit by 8:30. Heard a couple boats getting some good marks just west of the Canyon. So we decided to run about 7 or 8 miles to try and close the gap. Set out on the 470 in about 40 fathoms and worked north. Around the 500 we getour first YFT bite. As soon as I knock the throttle back we get another. Both fish about 25 lbs. class. Started to work the area with a couple of boats on the 530 line and the 869. Picked up two more small YFT's and one 50 lbs. class within the hour. Then it seemed like the bite knocked off and the boats started to spread out. So we decided to work back south were we had a couple of bites earlier. Getting close to the end of the day and my brother is letting out the short when he feels something take it. He immediately throws it into to strike and tells us "now thats how you hook him." Our Dad jumps in the chair and my brother yells out its a Blue. We immediately clear the lines and start backing down on him as quick as possible. We got the release in about a half an hour. Tried to play him out for a little while to bill him up but broke him off. He looked to be about 250-300 lbs. Had a lot of fun with our crew today. Stayed busy dam near all day. Hot bait for the tunas today was the green spreader bar. Caught 4 on it. Oh yeah and the weathermans wind forecast was a little off today. Heres a couple pics............

Good job Juggernaut crew! Last time we talked on radio, we were a good 12 miles from you and thought you had left by the time we found the load of mahi. Congrats on the late day blue!

That's a great job on a relatively slow day. Real nice work on he blue. We didn't get a hit on our green spreader bar all day, but the fish hit flats all around it. I guess ours was more of a teaser for them. Way to go get 'em.

From the looks of these mahi catches someone needs to invent the "Mahi-o-matic auto-cleaner".
Great work all around [excited], I'm jealous!
