Norfolk Canyon 9-23

We stopped about 8 miles short of the tip of the Norfolk this morning. Put the bird/GM out first and before we could get the second rod rigged and out we had a fish on!!!! Brought in a nice 40# YF to get the skunk off the boat. Trolled the area for another hour with no luck except the broken grass hanging up in the baits. Headed out to the north wall of the Norfolk and spent the rest of the morning along there. Ended up with 5YF, two on the small size but the other three were in the 40-50# range.

Nice fish! Nothing like getting the skunk outta the boat first thing in the morning, it sure takes the pressure off to find a fish and makes for a more relaxed day.
