My wife Jennifer, boys, Phillip 11 and Jason 9 and I took a long awaited (rescheduled by Brian 4 times to have the right weather for my boys) trip offshore with Brian and Marty on the new run off last Sunday. Jake (overboard) was second mate.
Fishing was outstanding. A few dolphin and tuna, two wahoo and a small (80 - 100 lb) blue marlin for my nine year old and a 70 inch sail for my eleven year old. Both bills on dink guacamole hoos prepared and fed to the fish by Marty. Both on 30 lb tld 25s with 80 lb leaders. Marty and Brian were all over them and gently walked my boys through the fights. Overboard taped both releases.
Another, bigger blue looking but not eating.
The new Run Off is very able and seems to have that hummmm.
I believe she is the hottest boat in SOBX right now.
Thank you Brian, Marty and Jake.

Couldn't get any better than that! Great job all. Hey Seabiscut, I'm heading down to Long Beach July 2 -> 13 and bringing my Albe. Drop me your phone # if you're interested in running out. I'd also wanna spend some time doing some wreck fishing w/my 9 yr old son and you probably got some good leads on that?
