HI 5-29-05

Well a last second change of mind from SWMBO allowed me to hit HI on sunday.

Caught a ride with GAW--Glenn. Great to see all the TF boats down there. We went south all the way to 850 trolled the big weed patch and picked up 1 gaffer. With only Glenn and I on the boat we quckly gave up on the grass shagging as we could not keep the baits clean. We went overboard to the 1000fa. line and trolled big baits looking for the blue one. No luck so we moved back near the 100 and picked up another gaffer. Trolled north to the rockpile and picked up a small wahoo on the planer.

That was it for the day. Great time with my bud Glenn. Tough fishing with only 2 guys but we had fun and made the best of it. Great talking to all the TF guys.

It was nice meeting you this weekend. Thanks for dinner on Saturday night. It was nice to finally get some blue water under my feet this year! Special thanks to Glenn as well for the special trailer parking. Otherwise we would had to park the trailer up near Oden's and it would have been a long walk back to Teach's.

Glad you guys got out & congrats on the Wahoo. The grass was horrible at times & kept everyone busy so I can imagine w/ 2 people it was a mess.

That water down there sure did look tempting. You made the right choice pulling for a blue one. If the water hadn't pushed in near the point, I would of done the same thing with all the bills out their right now. Congrats on the money fish!
