A few hand lines... where should I go?

I am looking for a spot to go crabbing on a dock or pier or even from the shore, nothing special... just a place where I can use a few hand lines and a trap or 2. I am trying to find somewhere on the narrows or on kent island... not too familiar with tha area and would love some local help or any favorite spots to try out...if you do have a spot you wish to share please be specific with the spot and address or anything that will identify the spot to someone not from the area... Thanks for all your help

The Choptank fishing pier is where I'd be heading for handlining. You'll need a net with an extension handle though. Pick up some traps and use them there. Lots of people crabbing the pier now.
