Alright - so whaddya think? Isabelle cut our numbers in half last year, but we could probably get back up to where we need to be. And I've seen several inquiries of late of folks ready to jump in or just learn some more.

Should we plan yet another Flyfest? As always, I'm happy to host.

Any thoughts on dates?

Pax -
I'm in, of course, and look forward to seeing everyone again this year.
For scheduling, even with the hurricane possibility, I still think September's temps make for a more enjoyable day, and with the kids back in school, fewer folks are away on vacation.
Five months notice!...gotta be a new record.

As I was scorned by Ladyfish (Happy birthday) for missing Tiefest this year, I figure I have no choice but to rearrange my schedule to be sure I'm free that weekend (whenever it is).

So much pressure....

I'd love to do it if schedule permits.

Joe - Man - It would be great to have Walt down.

Well - I'd say that's critical mass.

So Labor Day is 9/5 - Shall we ink in 9/10 as the day?

Further planning will continue in July or so.

Everybody, Denis has an awesome 20 minute casting presentation featuring his metronomic 3 weight that we should encourage him to give to us. D-F D-F D-F {c'mon join with me now} D-F.....

Plus, OMC and Spilunker will have invented at least two new groundbreaking flies by then for presentation.

I have not been to a fly fest in the past, but would really love to attend the next one. Count me in.

9/10 works for me! If any fishing is involved, and it's within range of Deale, I'll have room on my boat for 2 others.

Oh Yeah - And I just had the pier redone.

At the last Flyfest, I was a little worried when that old timber was loaded down with you all....

I missed it last year because my wife dragged me, kicking and screamming all the way, up to Nantucket. But I won't miss it this year.

I agree this has to be the most advanced planning that has ever appeared on this board.

Dave: I know what a miserable time you had on Nantucket; I sure hope you don't have to go back this year, especially in September, when the false albacore, bonito, Spanish mackerel, blues, and stripers are within casting range of the beach.[grin]
