Looking for something 3-12 or 4-16 power 40-50mm to put on a 7 08 T/C barrel.
Any suggestions ?
Leupold & Burris have a few in this $ range and I've been happy with both although was looking for other options.
Thanks,
Russ

Second Zeiss Conquest, I have the 3.5 x 10 x 44, if you shop around you can pick the up for just under $500. Last one I purchased came off E-bay sealed nib for $464 which included shipping. Great scopes can't go wrong!

A friend of mine was talking about a leupold 4X12X50mm that Walmart had. $250.00!! I never checked it out, but it is a steal. Not sure of the model. That would probably fit perfect for the money.

Buckmaster 50MM. Great scope for the money. Check Ebay, far cheaper than the rest.

Does Brunton make scopes?? If so you may want to check them out. There binoculars are damn nice for the $$. I've shot a 25.-06 with a Swift and it was nice. Good Luck

I've had a Simmons Whitetail Classic in 3.5-10x50 (about $130) on my 7mm for about 5 years now. I'm very hard on my gear and I have never had to rezero except when I changed to a diferant load. I never have fogging issues, and get great light in all conditions. I've had it out in rain, snow, freezeing rain, temps from -15 to 110. My buddy has one on his 300 win mag with the same results.

you cannot go wrong with LEUPOLD, well worth the extra money and lifetime warrantee. However if you have a limit, the SIMMONS 44MAG is a very nice quality scope for $79.97 at Sportsman's Guide online, I have both, no probs with the LEUPOLD of course and over the past 4 years no problems with the Simmons either.
My 2 cents worth.......good luck!!![wink]

Take a look at the sample list. I have bought several from them over the years and saved a bunch of $$. Never had a return needed. A good opportunity IMHO.
