SRRKC -ish members save 4 men from sinking boat in mid atlantic shootout

I say -ish because these guys are a couple of my friends that have made a few meetings but never paid for a round that I'm aware of.

Anyway my pal Mike Lane was fishing aboard Jeff Snyder's Proline today when they saw a boat in distress. They cut their lines and planers off to go rescue these guys.

Didn't know a 26 ft boat was a small boat .......... also didn't read anything about 8 ft swells in the article

Those guys from the sunken boat are cr@ping horseshoes ........ sure glad your friends were nearby and willing to help ............. scary when you think it only took 3 minutes and the water temp was in the low 40's (in the bay that is) ........... those guys would probably be dead if your friends had reeled in the lines and planer boards .......... quick thinking from a good Capt. ..........

There were no 8' swells, just an exageration but the forcast was for 4-5's but with the NW winds, and being close to shore it didn't look too bad. There are pics of it on the VA Board.

That is a great job, quick thinking, and good boat handling by the rescuers. Glad to see every one made it home ok.
