O/T Unemployment Tax

Extremely pissed right now.. Did any other VA business owners get a letter from the beloved Commonwealth quadrupling your unemployment rate? WTF
Why didn't they give us a heads up? As bad as things are now for small business's, they go and pull this crap.. Surely I'm not the only one who received this.. :52:

Someones got to pay when the unemployment benefits are extended..... socialism at its best. Thank B.O. and the Dems. As a Military retiree I just learned that there won't be a COLA this year and by the way the tax rate on my benefits have been increased..... so I (and all other retirees) actually took a pay cut... B.O.H.I.C. (I left the "A" off because I don't think we ever got it the way we're about too)

just another way for the goverment to help out the small business owners like You and I. Maybe when we get huge someday we can get free stimulus money. For right now it appears like we are in charge of supporting Mr. Obama's bad spending habits. Hang in there and maybe it will get better.

These bastards are on my last nerve.. Seriously thinking about shutting the doors.. The thought of being forced to pay the jerks more money just makes my friggin blood boil.. The thing that pisses me off even more is, I know this isn't the end.. Things are getting worse, not better.. So they will eventually have to raise taxes again, and again.. My kids will be paying more in taxes then they will bring home.. This country is done if someone doesn't make some big changes

its been the law for long time , anytime the fund is exhausted the rate skyrockets to replenish the fund. once the fund is replenished the rates comes back down. shouldnt have caught you by surprise. what pisses me is they are so busy with unemployed those that screwed around on job and deserved to get fired are getting benefits that they normally would be disqualified from. even called unemployement and told them i had copies of his invoices for side jobs he is doing they still dont have time to investigate.
