I have a 16' skiff which is about 20 yr's old. The gel coat / paint has worn away in several spots giveing everyone itchy butts. It's the typical gray with black and white splatter pattern. Can I jusst paint over it? and if so what paint do I use?

I'm a fan of West Systems epoxy for repairing gelcoat prior to paint. West Systems website also has step by step instructions on this type of repair.

i found a roll on type bedliner that could be mixed into any color i wanted. just lightly sanded and rolled. has held up VERY well and easy to clean. sorry cant remember the name it was only $174 for a two part gallon kit and only used about half on the floor of my 25 seacraft
