I've got a couple mysterious issues with my 76 v4, I was hoping maybe
someone had the same issues before and got it straightened out or knows
these older motors
My boat starts excellent cold....better that Hot
When I first start it I'll fast idle it and rev it a little to warm it, then head out.... once I'm out of the 6 knot zone I'll try to go full throttle and its only running on 2 or 3 cylinders (will hardly plane if at all)
If I rev it hard in neutral a few times that usually fixes it...?????
Also I'm having trouble getting it to Idle down slow enough to troll at 3 knots sounds like it's missing 1 year ago I had the same trouble, I replaced all the coils and that fixed it for a while, now I just don't know
I think it's all ignition related....anyone have any Ideas
