So few of us have written our delegates, senators, and Gov, that those politicians in general feel that the YP decision was a safe one. Mr. Simms has won the day. Omega will win the future. We have no one to blame but our own lazy selves.

Where you been? Seems to me there are many on this board and other boards who've put plenty of time and effort into fighting the proposal. Hundreds of letters and emails have been sent to our legislators and the DNR. Don't belong to CCA or MSSA? Were you at the public hearings?

I belong to both and took the bus to Cambridge. I was there, and I wrote the Gov twice.

Well...he didn't loose.
If you remember from the Cambridge meeting, DNR had screwed up their timing, and couldn't get it opened in time for the Feb/Mar 06 season.
It couldn't be implemented this year anyway, so when it was pulled (during an election year), it allows time for the Gov to get reelected, then resubmit on 8 Nov in time to get it through all of the legal hoops in time for Feb/Mar 07.
We'll see this ugly puppy again next Nov, if Ehrlich get reelected.
