Can any of you southern Md. guys tell me where I can find Natty Boh in the Waldorf/La Plata, route 301 area? It is not available here in VA, Northern Neck and I'll be traveling rt. 301 soon. Even though I'm now a Virginian, I figure I'm entitled to Natty because I was born in Baltimore! Thanks for your help. (Apologize for non-fishing related topic----WAIT- Natty Boh IS fishing related!:))

I have two 6's of Natty Boh in my fridge. Right next to the two 6's of Pabst and one 6 of Coors Light...all these in bottles, not cans. Natty in cans just ain't fittin'.

Natty is hard to come by. Here in Centreville Draper's carried it until they expanded their endless Budwiser selection and pushed it outta the cooler. Then new Centrevuille Liquors picked it up...God Bless 'Em.

My sentiments exactly. Bought a six pack about a year ago. Had not had one since high school and wanted to see if they still tasted the same. Took one good swig and delegated it to the back of the fridge for crab boiling beer.

Everywhere here in Canton, sells it. Although I do not drink, I have had it before and Im with everyone else here. It's terrible beer for drinking, but excellent for catching slugs in the tomatoe garden!!!

Speaking of beers suitable for catching garden slugs, anyone know where I can get a couple six's of Iron City. It has to be fresh. Not weeks old where it tastes like drinking the can.

Geeze, guys!! Is it that bad?? It's been a long time since I've had a sip, but was it really THAT bad? Boh sponsored the Wash. Nats, Arch MacDonald and Bob Wolf, Harmon Killebrew, Connie Marrero, Eddie Yost, Mickey Vernon, The Land of Pleasant Living...I'm dating myself, I guess. Do I have to stick to Budweiser, even though they've gone Euro? I think I'll give up Sassy shads and go back to good ole bucktails and pork rinds, rag mops for bluefish, Penn LongBeaches and dacron line.

Anyone remember that was the only beer served at memorial stadium at O's games. Not sure about the colts.....they slunk outta town before I was old enough to drink:rolleyes:

Half way through the game I had a nasty hangover but it was all part of an O's game. Had to do it:D

Suitcases of Natty Boh in the waterman series cans at St. Mary's in the mid '80's, ahhhhh ...damn fine stuff. Live lining spot off the old pier in front of QA for blues as the sun set and pullin' arsters off the bottom by the boathouse. I need a time machine.

I had an early Father's Day and these are leftovers. Also had corn on the cob, coleslaw, potato salad. My sweet daughters borrowed my old F150 and had this new bedliner and tool box installed.

That is the thing about both Natty Boh and Iron City. They always tastes better when fresh and/or in bottles. I grew up on Iron City in the bottle. When I moved down here in 82 I found Natty Boh had a similar taste. It was areally good beer when fresh. Unfortunately, if it had been in a can more than 60 days or it had been chilled more than once it tasted terrible. Iron City is the same way.

They served National Premium as well. I liked the Premium. Never cared much for "Natty"

Nothing wrong with Boh........ You can get it everywhere here in the DENA. I was at a local bar the other day and omeone ordered one......the bar tender said he only had 2 left o dont "Like It" too much. At the same time the liquor/beer ditributor was in there(giving me free shots to taste test:yes:) and we were talking about the Boh.......He said it is really making a comback, and alot of bars are starting to serve it. I like Boh, but when at a bar, and paying the same price for all domestics, I gotta go with the Bud:thumbup: Now if the bars served Mickey bigmouths:yes:

Jerry Hofberger, who owned the O's at one time also owned Natty Boh. Do you remmeber the skipjack called Chesterpeake with Capt, Frank Hennessy on board?
How about " Where'd you get that tie?" "From the sponsor" "Very Pretty"

It's important to know that Natty Boh uses the water before it goes through the Back river sewage treatment plant and National Premium uses the water after it goes through the Back river water sewage treatment plant.

Anyway those ads in the '60's remain my favorites. With the pelicans, sea gulls, clams singing the praises of "the land of pleasant living"

My neighbor drinks nothing but Boh so I can assume that you can still get it for less then $7.00 a case. As this guy beats out Jack Luskin as the "cheapest guy in town".

I think Jerry (Tidalfish name) can tell some Natty Boh tales baing from B'more.

Any review that starts with "I'll take a Bud" says it all for me. Beer should be enjoyed from the tap, or a dark bottle, 30 packs are for the doublewide-NASCAR crowd. Busch Series indeed.;-)
