Flyfishing in Delaware-Info Request

I'm heading down to Delaware this Friday with my girlfriend and plan on taking my 9 wt flyrod with me with the hopes of a few hours of fun in the surf. Does anyone have any recommendations pertaining to bait or technique. I've heard that chartreusse clauser or deceivers work well..........3.0.........any opinions?

It depends where you are going to be. The colors you said will work in most places. Olive and white and white and tan has been hot.

Always carry a variety of sizes of an all white deceiver as well. It imitates everything. Just match the size of the bait fish. Try Cape Henlopen State Park.
