HI:
Took S.W.M.B.O out for a inshore day from Port Canaveral.
Worked the North jetty for some decent Fluke(Summer Flounder). Nothing over 16 inches.Minimum size down here is 12. We keep to 16 or better.
Decided to go over to the Yellow can North of the inlet. Worked around there and had fun with the Cobia. Ended up keeping a 16 inch Spanish Mack.
Went back in and fished the middle turning basin. NADA.
Went and worked the locks, just North of the bridge. Again NADA.
Decided to call it a day and put the boat away. On the whole, lots of smaller Fluke (summer Flounder) but nothing to take home.
Next day the WIND GODS opened their doors and IT"S STILL BLOWING. Thought about doing the Mahi and Hoo tourney, but said NO NO NO. ONe boat was o/turned and the Coasties had to go get 'em. 9 FOOT SEAS is to much for my 23 foot DUSKY.
Mybe I'll try again this Friday.
