There is a woman i think her company is Crawfords Stump service, all she does is stumps, she does good work and with that many stumps you would get a better price i would imagine, but it will still be pricey. If you can rent a machine and dont mind the labor and learning curve that would prob be the way to go. Call Glens Tree service, he is a very nice and honest man and will probably do them for you or refer you to her , i think her name is Shela Crawford.

Try Ben Whitfield phone 757-484-5433 he lives in Suffolk, but he grinds anywhere from Yorktown to NC.

Do it yourself...it's not a bad job. Last month I rented a stump grinder from Sunbelt in Chesapeake Greenbrier area. One day rent was about $300, but they let me pick it up Sat morning and rtn it Monday morning. I did about a dozen stumps in half a days work, then let my neighbor do a few (reminds me, he still owes me $50!).

I've been using him for 15+ years. He has a great guy named Lynn Merritt (spelling) that does the stump grinding and he has a self propelled machine that will go pretty much anywhere (it fit through my 4" wide fence gate). Very reasonable prices.
