Today I was at the Kayak Shop in Solomons (aka My Work) and broght my Chocolate Lab with me. Well left her here and went down to Boaters World to get some trailer stuff (when I got there, saw the going out of business sign. Pissed me off, so I was going to get some stuff before they run out) Then I got a call saying Morgan got loose.

I have been looking all over Solomons, Island since 12pm today. Still looking for her, just thought if I posted something on here, some of the Solomons guys could keep an eye out or if they have seen her let me know.

She is a Femal Chocolate Lab named Morgan
3 years old
Pretty slim, not fat.
has a blueish/green collar on her
Has a Chip
Really Frendly
Has a patch of Hair missing on her left ear about the size of a dime

She has been a best friend to me and would appereciate it very much

Make sure you call area police departments and animal shelters. If any one takes her to a vet, they will pick up on the chip. I have 2 black labs and know exactly how to feel. please keep us posted. Good luck........Gary

Found her behind the kayak shop this morning!!!
I put one of my jackets out yesterday hoping she would smell it and come back to it.
Well, went down this morning and she was THERE!!!
Im really happy. Just wondering where she was when I searched for 13 hours for her all yesterday.

I've used that trick myself before! Buddys beagle seemed to enjoy running deer better than rabbits at times. One time she went off after a deer and we LOST her. Searched for hours. decided to leave my buddies jacket where we parked and notified the farmer. well a few hours later we got a phone call, the beagle was laying on the jacket waiting for us to pick her up!
Glad to hear you found your dog! best of luck in the future!

Joey,

Great ending to the story. I had a Redbone Coonhound missing for 8 nights one time. Found her after lots of searching and sleepless nights so I know how you feel.

Give her a big hug from all of us.

What a great feeling! My Lab ran off one time with another Lab. They were gone for 4 hours and I could not go to bed so I kept looking. Finally they were back at 3:00 AM and both were soaking wet............but no mud or dirt on them. The creek was right behind my house but they both smelled of chlorine:clap: They went swimming in some ones pool..........with no life preservers:clap::clap: ....I like happy ending:clap::clap:....Gary
