Just curious, I filed on 2/6 and have yet to receive a return. Online indicates they received and are processing it.
In years past, when I filed early, they got the check back asap and b4 the feds sent me mine. I got the federal yesterday.
Anyone else experienceing a delay. Do you think Md is holding the returns to make interest? Or am I going to get a digital exam?

I always try to owe them and file on 4/15,that way I`m the one collecting the interest.Who knows you might wind up getting an IOU.

When I did mine back in february , filed with turbo tax on a friday evening and had the funds deposited to my account by Wednesday.

Thats funny, bastards took me to the cleaner this year. Selling my rental properties killed me with captial gains. I hate tax time.

I efiled my Fed and had it back in a week. I mailed in my State and still don't have it back either (almost a month now).
MD is normally pretty quick on the return. So I'm beginning to worry as well.

You can file MD taxes online for free at the Comptrollers website. Basically, you just take the numbers off the paper form and plug it into the electronic form online and hit the send button.
My Virginia return nearly always beat the Fed return until this year. Rumor is Gov. Kaine wants the interest on the money so he's holding all until after the 1st.
Wait til B.O. hears that one!!
