Teaser fished Wednesday, October 15th out of Wachapreague Va.

Alan, Ron, and yours truly departed Town Marina at 0430 for the early run to same basic area that we fished on 3 and 5 October, 50 fathoms south of the Washington. First bite started around 8:00 A.M. Was non-stop action throughout the day. We had 3-4 runoffs that came unglued. We ended the day going 1 for 2 on White Marlin, 4 for 6 on Wahoo's, and a few bailers.

Thanks Lindsay,

Makes a bunch of Hoo's in the three trips to the same area. Same basic area where I called Bill and John into a week ago. Plenty of dolphin there but current was running hard
to the southern making holding her line difficult.

Great job, Keith. That 50 fa. area south of Washington has been hot for 2 weeks. Hope it stays that way!

ROCK ON - Scott,

Yep, Might of had a few more had I stayed in the area. Moved offshore and up a bit as we were looking to see if we could run into the Yellowfins or the Longfins on the other side of the break. Break was near some numbers that I've caught YFT's and LFT's in past years. No body home this trip on the edge. Came back in and the scattered grass had moved in and was pretty tough going. Good news is that the grass was bunching up and would make for a real good weedline (if able to form-up). This weekend looks like a wash, not sure what this weather will do for our area but next weather break and crew willing, headed back out.

teaser,

we fished this same spot yesterday, 50line south just inside the washington and boated one nice hoo late in the day. We ran up and down several weedlines and saw a ton of dolphin that would not eat dead bait. We threw everything we had at them and no hook ups. It was weird!!!! Nothing on the balls either, we figured they were worked over since we didn't get there until 9:30am. We caught our fish on the warm side of the break. We started out in 65F water and when we crossed over to the 71F water we got one fish, the hoo. Beautiful day on the water and nice ride home to OC.
