New Bilge Pump Help

Hey guys,
Please excuse me if this question is a little "stupid" but Im trying to learn here. My bilge went up in my CC 2 days ago. I went out and got my replacement, detached the old bilge hose and inspected my wires...I then noticed that I have 3 wires connected from the boat to the bilge. My new bilge has only 2 wires for connection...So my question is: do I combine 2 wires into one, or are there bilges made for a 3 wire hookup?

Third wire is for float switch over-ride. instruction sheet should explain.

Thats the thing....I didnt see anything on the manual or instruction sheet about the float switch over ride. Well see!!! Ill let you know how I made out.

I got it all figured out and the bilge working perfectly...thanks for the help!
