I need to replace my old crab cooker it was a high pressure multi flane unit. Now its a low presure low heat unit and (Yes -I have cleaned it)
Use to take about 20 minutes from start to finish to cook a bu.
Has anyone purchased the Crab Cooker from the http://www.cajunshoppe.com/burner.htm:rolleyes:At 200,000 BTU it should get the job done in a nicely.
I purchased the $29 jetburner and am not happy It takes about 1hr from start to finish.
So now I'm considering the Crab Cooker.

Ive been using the turkey fryer burner you get from walmart etc and haven't had any problems can do a bushel in 30-35 mins from start to finish. I don't boil my water before putting my crabs in the pot

Yea, Thats similar to the jetburner I now have(concentrated flame) The B004 Unit only puts out 100,000 BTU. My pot was custom made my a guy in Edgewater and its quite heavy SS about 60-65 Qt It takes a good 20-25 minutes before I even see steam! My old Burner did the job in 25 minutes.
