Wye River

Crabbed down river and caught 45.Mostly mediums but some were big.They were full and were very good.My little cousin caught a crab just shy of 9 inches.We also caught some nice white perch.Plenty of throwback crabs.Things are looking good for the fall.A great family day outing.

I was out there today and 45 was my number also.
Some really nice 71/2 to 81/4 and alot of 6 to 7 nice day out.
Crowded for a Tuesday.?

I was out on the Wye on Monday. Not too crowded at all. I didn't launch from the landing but the river was pretty open. By 2pm, the river was empty.

We got two packed bushels in about 6 hours running 1000' snood half-way down the river.

Tuesday was different. I had heard that the crabs had moved up river. I hadn't been in a month and decided to play it safe where Comm don't crab.I would have chosen up river near Lloyd's.Instead we went somewhat close to the mouth.
