Hi all:

I am planning on heading to the South on Thursday afternoon. I am new to this (only my second trip) and I am wondering if anyone would be willing to help me out a little on locations. I am thinking about dumping the boat in at Oak Grove (but if anyone has better suggestions...) and running traps.

upstream? downstream?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Hans

I always put in at Oak Grove and usually run towards the bay side of the bridge. Any shoreline that is clear of piers is good. You should try 5-10 feet of water on a moving tide. I have done well in the South this year but better in the Choptank. Gary

Within sight of the commerical boats should put you on the crab's.
Shelby Bay or the the South side just West of Selby around the duck blinds.
