South River Crabbing???

In general, is the South River still worth a trip? I am taking a couple of friends out this weekend, and want to make sure I get them on some crab.

we were down on the south the past 2 weekends, 2 weeks ago we had an almost full bushel of 50 very nice crabs. last weekend had 64 in the basket but it took twice as long as the 1st of the past 2 weekends. alot of small crabs and females. I'm gonna try up north this weekend just to check things out. as far as going south, I would say go for it

Thanks for the reply. I too have been debating going North, but am fearful that it is going to be exceeding crowded.
