i went with a friend of mine, i rarely eat them from anywhere. They usually go to my friends and family. I am having trouble figuring how that would be poaching or as bad as poaching?!? I don't eat them out of there cause they don't taste good to me, i just go with people there sometimes cause i enjoy crabbing.

to me not eating what you catch or kill is wrong.....this isnt for sport.....but i did not know you were giving the crabs to friends and family which to me is perfectly fine as long as the harvest isnt just going to waste. why i say its almost as bad as poaching is cuz due to hunting public lands for some time now and every year finding a full deer carcass laying in the woods with just the antlers cut out of it realls makes me angry. i feel the same if someone were to go to the bay....catch their limit of crabs.....and get one mounted and the rest go to waste. i apologize if that was takin the wrong way and that i did not know the crabs are going to use!

no worries, i don't ever let them go to waste, if they are gonna go bad, i'll eat them myself. Usually there's plenty of people to eat them though. ;)
