i m taking myoatto the outer banks this week and am trying to do some fishing . wh shouuld target in shore or off shore . any help woud be great. howf is gulf from hateras? if i rn straight west. or ever OI. are there amber jack closer in shore? or should ijust keep getting it for the good stff? thanks/

You can catch Aj's at the south tower or any other tower out there. Inshore you can catch cobia, spanish, or troll for kings..... off shore they have been doin good at the point.. Check your computer its spacing your words out too much!!! good luck

If i remember correctly from OI its about 20 miles out to the South Tower but don't hold it to me Check your charts to be sure... but the Aj's are all over the place Lou (Chumlord) went out a couple of weeks ago and were slayin em on topwater... good luck

Live bait works great around the towers, croakers, spot and you can even throw chuggers or poppers. topwater action is hot right now!!.. If you hook one close to the tower you better haul ass away cause he is going for those legs and will break you off in a heart beat. They are very very strong fish :eek: and are a blast to catch.. While your out there look for cobia and kings... its about time for the kings to start showing.
