This week's WX thread- OC MD

[shoot-straight]

Just when things pick up offshore (and right after our first trip, AND i get all my new spreader bars) the WX turns bad, and is predicted to stay bad. my boat is only 25', and not a true offshore rig. i have to really pick my days.

as usual, the fishweather and NOAA are kinda different. a strong sw blow makes things really bad for us out there.

trying to go out on tues or thurs this week. advice anyone?

I'll bet that Wed. will be much better than Thursday because I cannot go on Wednesday! Seriously, Windguru is predicting Wed. to be much better than Thurs.

the "fishweather" forecast looks pretty good for tomorrow.

HOWEVER, i'll bet even if the wind lays out, the swells will be pretty big.
