Any suggestions on how to cook either croaker or sea mullet? Never tried either before and looking for some good recipies to try.

Coat the sea mullet in a beer batter and deep fry. Makes awesome fish & chips. Very tasty fish. I like croaker deep fried as well with House Autry and some tabasco.

Scale,gut and dehead the croaker. Steam or poach in a litlle water,salt,beer, with a little vinegar till it flakes a little. Cool n pick off the old y-bone. Then fallow the instuctions for crab cakes on the old bay box. Don't mention croaker when your serving.
