Canoeing the upper Potomac from Old Town down to Paw Paw in 2 weeks... Planning to take an assortment of inline spinners and tube/curly-tail jigs... Anyone have any tips for me???
I really appreciate any info...

I can't speak to the Upper Potomac but I floated between Brunswick MD and the Point of Rocks Bridge (Rt 15 - MD/VA border) and white curl tail grubs behind rocks was the killer bait.

Here in Harpers Ferry on the Shenandoah my go-to lure is a white spinner tipped with a 3'' white grub. Work it slow against the current when there is wind or a little faster sideways through the current when there is no wind.
