My family is coming to the OBX in the last week of july/first week of august. There are about 6-8 of us interested in a fishing charter. Who should I call and what can we expect to catch that time of year?

Check your bmail....Depending upon where you will be there are a bunch of boats I can recommend!
Remember..6 is the max on most boats. If you are going to be taking 8 people you need to consider a headboat type situation. As Playnhooky says..reccomendations will depend on where you are staying and what type of fishing you want to do.

Call the Oregon Inlet Fish Center. They can book charters on a number of fine boats. Capt. Ned on the Wildfire is a good one working out of that marina..

There is one boat that can handle 8 people on a Gulf Stream charter. It's Country Girl out of Pirates Cove. Big Al is a good captain too.

try the country girl out of pirates cove just went on sat off shore wreck fishing and caught a mess of tile and blue fish it was awsome they also take offshore gulfstream trips with more than 6 poeple up to 12 i think countrygirlcharters.com
