Somebody detailed my truck and got wax all over the body moldings. I have tried Mother back to black and it just keeps coming back...slight haze. Is there something else I can try. I have heard tire white/bleach but am afraid of messing the paint up.

Thanks

Try pure silicone spray...works for me!!

If not, a tooth brush will do.

Can't help you on how to remove it, but if you paid to have it detailed, I would take it back to them to get it removed. (Included in the original detailing cost of course!)

Depends if the molding is smooth or not. Maybe try a pencil eraser.

to remove wax on any surface you first must know what circuliar rotation was used when putting wax on. than you go the other way . just like mr. miagee did wax on wax off. easy:wacko:

Im assuming they are textured moldings , that is normal but they should have know better. Take a tooth brush or a finger nail brush and get some wax and greas remover from your local automotive paint supply store. (fairly cheap) Use that on it and just scrub the molding and wipe clean. Then use some type of armor all or equilavent to shine it back up. I own a body and paint shop and have seen this mistake many times. Hope this helps.
