I bought a used pellet stove in excellent condition with no paperwork. The seller said vent with b pipe so I did that today. Now I find out they dont recommend b pipe for venting pellet stoves my dilemma is its only one elbow and 2 foot of pipe thru wall thimble some say its OK because it is short for a vent is there anyone on here with any knowledge of pellet stoves or who can tell me what pipe to use????? Help:confused::confused:

:thumbup:go to a pellet stove dealer , they will have the pipe you need. It depends on how high off the ground your pipe comes out of the house whethere you have to vent up or down. Not sure of the height, dealer will know. I love my stove. Simple, easy, no wood, no mess. Kids/ wife can load and start:thumbup:

I bought a chimney kit with my pellet/corn stove and originally vented it straight out through the wall with only 2 lengths of pipe (24" total) and a cap (no elbows).

I was getting too much soot on the soffit (6.5' above the pipe) so I extended the pipe an additional 3' horizontally. That eliminated the soot situation. The stove works like a champ!!!
