Crab Report.....

Well Guys,Went to the Chester................6 Crabs is all we had.3 females and 3 Males.Laid in 10-18 ft.Could'nt go any deeper as I only had 20 ft. of line on the Traps.Saw a Potter at Love Point,He had 2-3 Crabs in each Pot that I saw pulled.

Saw pots in 5-6 ft today,Did'nt think they are that shallow???Ended up committing a Mortal sin on the way Home though.Stopped and Bought a Buschel,gotta say they were Huge and Heavy though.4 dozen filled a Basket,Guy put another 12 in a Bag.If they all would have been settled down,Maybe they all would have fit in 1 Basket,Maybe![Mike]

Well Mike, If you have to buy crabs, this is the time of year to do it.
They will pretty much all be of real good quality.
Sorry you didnt score on the Chester.

Dave,Really was'nt exspecting to much,but was hopin' to do a lil' better!Tide was high all day.Launched out of Sandy about 6 or so,water almost covering the end of the Piers.Came in about 2 and it[water] was the same.Hope next year is better,I'll be ok as long as my Trap puller[Son] does'nt break anymore bones!!!
