had my wife start shooting a bow this year, she shoots a parker buckshot at 43lb and has been practicing every day since july, took her hunting last wed. for the first time ever and we were'nt in the stand 30 min before her first deer showed up,it was a spike and she got so nervous that she missed by a mile, after that she cried because she was worried that she had let me down but i reassured her that i wasn't upset and that she would get other chances, but she had to keep her cool and remember everything that i taught her and she was more than capable of taking a deer if she would just relax. So 30min later a doe showed up and i told her to get ready, she drew the bow and i told her pretent your at home, the doe was at 20yrd broadside.she released the arrow and the simmonshark did the job,the deer scrambled for 40yrds,while that deer was flopping around another doe came over to see the comotion, i told my wife to get ready, the doe was at 15yrds quartered away, she drew back and without coaching she hit the mark, last rib and exit behind the far shoulder,i couldnt be more proud high five ands hugs soon followed as we got down and both her deer died within sight ,it doesnt get any better, all her hard work payed off on her first deer hunt ever.   :clapping2:
