Made the trip to the tundra of the north to hunt bou. Very few around the first three days, so in the afternoon of day four when a small heard came by I picked the largest bull out and downed it in one shot.

While cutting this one up I realized I should have been more patient. That was just the start of a larger heard which came by with many bulls, but at the time I had no way of knowing that since it appeared the bou had already cleared out of the area and there would not be any more.

That is the way it goes. Almost nothing for days and then a blitz, sort of like fishing the CBBT. You think no fish are around and then a school moves in and there they all are.
