had a skittish doe jump my string sat evening. saw alot of small bucks but no shooters.

it seems that the older ( nanny does) i call them are almost as smart if not just as smart as a mature buck. the buck i saw was not in velvet but was a week before the season. my buddy hunted wed and saw a buck in velvet.

Man, these cool nights really get my blood flowing. Its ashame its been so warm these last few days. I still haven't gone bow huntin yet but I'm gettin the itch. Its hard to balance huntin and fishin and honey doos.

the more honey doos i do, the points i score down the line when i want to get a big one mounted or go huntin when its not a good time, by her standards. I been married long enough to know if she aint happy, then i better not go huntin.
