Pulled away from the dock around 4 am. Stopped just inside 30 fathoms to find some huge grass beds loaded with bait and bailer dolphin. Bailed all we wanted for about an hour on a couple of different beds. Pick up and run east just inside the 100 fathom on the 000 line. Push on out east through some scattered grass just short of the 500 fathom. Worked the area for a while. It had a couple of big pods of pilot whales and slicks allover the place. Just before 11 am, Buck spots whitey pushing up hard on the port teaser. He quickly changes over to the flat line and after a couple of drop backs it is on. Clear the spread back down on him and get the quick release. Work the area for a little while longer and then we pushed out to the southeast. Made it down to the 960 line in about 700 fathoms. Didn't like what we saw. So we headed back to where we started in the late morning to find that most of the life there was gone. Finished out the day trolling north on a grass line on the 100 fathom.
Water was pretty with a water temp about 80-83.5. Tons of bait under the grass. Couldn't believe the bills weren't hanging out near the grass beds. More whites than blues this weekend. From the sound of the radio the bite is still all scattered out whether your north or south deep or shallow. Eventually there gonna stack up. Waiting on someone to email the pics fom Sat. Will post later...............

The 950 - 980 in 700 fathoms is exactly where I would have gone... It would be nice to be able to figure out what the hell's going on....

Great work on the white!

Great report but even better with the poor bastard pics. Nice work on the Bills Guys. Been busy the last couple doing an addition to the beach house between running back & forth to NV for work. I know the bills have been thick & you guys live for them so I'm guseeing this is one of many reports in the last couple weeks. WTG guys keep up the great reports.
