Sorry guys,,,I have been very busy with the charters. I have had very little time to post fishing reports, but the fishing has been very good!
Last month I had two guys on a charter that had never caught a spotted sea trout.
Well,,,,this guy (On the right) catches a six and a half pounder! In all my years of fishing I have never caught one that big. And get this,,,his last name was Trout,,no kidding.

The very next day with a different charter we catch a six pound trout.

Then the wife and I go offshore for cobia the next day and catch a 18lb black fin tuna in 60 feet of water 14 miles offshore in my 21 foot bay boat. Thats close for a tuna here in SC!

Nice speck. Send some of them up north for us this year. I hear there has been a good bite down there this year.

We do it every spring.......................and the fall with the trout. They slow down a little in the summer.

Looks like you had a few good days, the trout a sweet and the blackfin is an excellent eating tuna. The fishing up here (Wachapeage,Va offshore) has been not so good, the tuna bite has been slow and the dolphin rarely showing up. Good luck on your future charters.

Captain - I'm coming down to Charleston last week in April, 1st week or May for a wedding (my daughter). Do you have a website? I know there is lots of fishing in Charlestown Harbor and I would love to try for giant Redfish, specks and sheepshead. I am a member of CCA-Southern Maryland. Thanks a million Phil Angle and family
