I am supposed to go Saturday. Starting to hear that it is fishable. I will know later from someone who is out there right as we speak.

Am thinking of going there this weekend for the first time, not sure which day. The only spot I know to launch is Tydings so that is probably where I will go. Will be in a tan WS Ride 135 with some long rods, say hi if you see me.

Historically this week and next week are the "Helen Keller and Ray Charles" days. The flats should be stacked and packed with fish eager to eat flies and artificial. But it's solid mud. booooooooo

Hint: Other rivers clear quicker than the susky, especially after a northeaster.

I wrote a quick how to for the flats on the Chessy board last week. I was very general with the fly fishing techniques but you guys already know how to fly fish. Scroll down to the third or fourth post. I like jacking people's threads, this way I'm not as guilty for obviously giving away exact locations

Based on today's results, you were right! I went home at 3PM (got on the water at 6AM).

We fished with everything but the kitchen sink! For over 2 hours, I threw my new Scott SAS 9 wt w/ a 350 and with a beautiful OMC fly but to no avail. Only saw a few fish caught all day.

Anyone else do anyting up there? Fess up!
